His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, attended a Gala Dinner, 17th June night, in honour of Heads of State and Government of ASEAN who are attending the ASEAN-Russia Commemorative Summit, which was hosted by His Excellency Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation. Accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The ASEAN-Russia Commemorative Summit – co-chaired by His Excellency Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Junior, President of the Republic of Philippines and His Excellency the President of the Russian Federation – was also joined by other ASEAN leaders.

Upon arrival at Kamal Theatre, Kazan, His Majesty was welcomed by the President of the Russian Federation. The Gala Dinner was enlivened with several cultural performances.
